What is BDIX bypass?

BDIX bypass means putting a proxy or VPN server inside a BDIX-connected network. Your ISP gives you a very fast local path to anything on BDIX — often 1 Gbps — and a much slower international one. Placing the server on the BDIX side means you reach it at local speed, and the provider's own international capacity carries you the rest of the way. It changes the route your traffic takes; it does not change your ISP package.

Does BDIX bypass give me free internet?

No, and anyone claiming otherwise is misleading you. You still pay your ISP for your connection and you still pay ErrorX for the routing. What you get is a better path to international destinations, not free or uncapped access to the internet.

Why is my BDIX speed 900 Mbps but GitHub only gives me 20?

Accepted Answer

Because they are two different things. BDIX traffic never leaves Bangladesh, and content from YouTube, Facebook and Netflix is usually served from a cache inside your own ISP — all of that is nearly free for them to give you. GitHub, Steam, Telegram and cloud providers need real international transit, which your ISP buys by the gigabit and sells to you as your package speed. The gap between those two numbers is exactly what ErrorX exists to close.

How do I get started?

Four steps, about five minutes. Choose a plan on the pricing page and pay with bKash or PayStation; download the app for your platform; sign in with Google, Facebook or Discord through your browser; press Start. There is no activation key, no config file to import and no server to choose.

What happens when my subscription ends?

Accepted Answer

The app stops connecting and removes the ErrorX profile, because the config link is tied to an active subscription and will no longer serve anything. Your account, your order history and any wallet balance stay exactly as they were — buying again picks up where you left off.

Will ErrorX increase my ISP package speed?

Accepted Answer

No. Your ISP still controls how fast you can reach anything, including us. If your package is 20 Mbps international, no service on earth can turn that into 100. What improves is everything after that first hop: uncongested transit, better peering and a route that is not shared with your whole neighbourhood at 9pm.

So how much faster will it actually be?

It depends entirely on how bad your current international route is, which is why we will not print a multiplier. The honest way to find out is to measure: note your download speed from an international target such as GitHub or a cloud region before connecting, then run the same test again after. That difference is the real answer for your line.

Why did my speed test not change?

Accepted Answer

Almost always because the test server was local. A BDIX speed test, or one that happens to be served from a cache inside your ISP, was already running at full speed and has nothing to improve. Test against something genuinely international, and make sure you are in Rule or Global mode rather than Direct.

Should I use Rule, Global or Direct mode?

Accepted Answer

Rule, unless you have a specific reason not to. It sends international traffic through ErrorX while leaving Bangladeshi sites and locally cached content on the direct path — tunnelling those would make them slower, not faster. Global forces everything through the tunnel; Direct passes everything through untouched, which is useful for before-and-after comparisons.

Which platforms are supported?

The ErrorX app has native builds for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android, including Android TV. All four share one codebase and one feature set — the differences between them are the integrations each operating system offers, such as per-app routing on Android or a Quick Settings tile.

Is there an iPhone or iPad app?

Accepted Answer

Not from ErrorX. iOS and iPadOS are covered by ProxyBD, our sister brand running on the same BDIX edge and the same upstream transit. ProxyBD has its own account and its own plans at proxybd.com, so an ErrorX subscription does not unlock it — we would rather tell you that here than after you have paid.

Can I use one subscription on several devices?

Yes. Install the app on as many devices as you own — installs are never counted. Your plan limits how many can be connected at the same moment, and a slot frees itself within about thirty seconds of a device going offline, so swapping between your laptop and your phone needs no action at all.

Why does the app ask for administrator access?

Accepted Answer

To create a network interface, which is how traffic is routed system-wide rather than only inside one browser. On Windows this registers a small helper service once, so the app itself never runs elevated. On macOS and Linux it grants a permission bit to the core binary, which is why the prompt reappears after an update — the new binary does not carry it yet. Android needs no such prompt because its VPN consent dialog serves the same purpose.

Can I route only some apps through ErrorX?

On Android, yes — Access control lets you route a chosen set of apps, or route everything except a chosen set. That is the usual fix for a banking or delivery app that refuses to work over a VPN. On desktop, use Rule mode with custom rules, or switch to Direct temporarily.

How do I pay?

bKash or PayStation, in taka. No card and no foreign currency are needed. You can also top up an ErrorX wallet and spend from that — refunds, referral earnings and credits from plan changes all land there too.

Is there really no data limit?

Accepted Answer

Really. There is no bandwidth quota anywhere in ErrorX: no soft cap, no fair-use clause, no throttle after a threshold. Your plan limits speed and simultaneous devices, and that is the complete list. We record usage so you can see it in your dashboard, never to bill or slow you down.

What if I buy again before my current plan expires?

The new time is added to the end of what you already have. Buying the same pack twice gives you twice the duration — nothing is overwritten, so renewing early never costs you anything.

Question 18

Can I upgrade or add devices mid-term?

Accepted Answer

Yes to both. On a plan change we work out what your remaining time is worth and credit it against the new plan, then charge only the difference; if the credit is larger, the surplus goes to your wallet. Adding devices charges only for the extra devices, prorated over the days you have left, and your expiry date does not move.

Does the price I see include the payment charge?

On bKash, yes — what we quote is what you pay. On PayStation, their processing charge is added at their own checkout, so the final figure there can be slightly higher than our quote. That is the gateway's fee, not a markup by us.

Question 20

Will I be charged automatically?

Accepted Answer

Only if you switch auto-renew on yourself — it is off by default. When enabled it renews from your ErrorX wallet balance shortly before expiry, so there is no gap in service. There is no stored card, because there is no card involved at any point.

How is my traffic protected?

Accepted Answer

Everything between your device and our edge runs inside a modern encrypted tunnel — WireGuard, Xray, Reality and TLS-based transports depending on your platform and conditions. Your ISP can see that you have a connection to ErrorX; it cannot see what is inside it, or shape it based on where it is going.

What does the app store on my device?

Your settings, your profile list and the sign-in token. The server list is stored exactly as it arrives — encrypted with a key derived from your own account — and is only ever opened inside the proxy core, in memory. No plaintext configuration is written to disk on any path, and any file left behind by an older version is deleted at startup.

What if someone gets my subscription link?

There is no link for you to lose. Your app fetches its configuration itself once you sign in — nothing is shown to copy, scan or paste, and there is no way to add a server list by hand. The request behind it is double-locked in any case: it needs both the token and your own signed-in app, so pasted into a browser, a generic Clash client, or another person's ErrorX it simply returns an error.

Do you keep logs?

We keep what running the service requires and nothing beyond it: your account and order history, which devices are currently connected, and total bytes transferred so you can see usage in your dashboard. Traffic contents and destinations are not part of that. We do not sell data, and account deletion removes your identity and devices while leaving financial records intact for accounting.

Question 25

How do I delete my account?

From your dashboard settings. Deletion is scheduled seven days ahead, and signing in during that window shows a screen where you can cancel it. After the window your identity, OAuth links, sessions, devices and notifications are permanently anonymised. Orders and payment records survive without a name attached, because we are required to keep them.
