Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This describes exactly what ErrorX stores, why each piece exists, and what happens to all of it when you delete your account. We have written it in plain language and kept the claims to things you can verify from your own dashboard.
Your account
ErrorX has no password. You sign in with Google, Facebook or Discord, and we receive only what those providers hand over:
- Your email address, used to identify the account and send order confirmations
- Your display name and profile picture, shown in your dashboard
- A provider account identifier, so the same login reaches the same account next time
- A phone number, only if you enter one at checkout for the payment gateway
What the service records
Running a subscription service requires some record-keeping. This is the complete list:
Subscription and devices
- Your current plan: duration, speed cap and device limit
- Which devices are connected right now, with a name you can edit and a last-seen time
- This is what enforces your device limit and what the live device list in your dashboard shows
Bandwidth totals
- Total bytes uploaded and downloaded, aggregated over time
- Shown to you in your dashboard as information — there is no data quota in ErrorX, so this is never used to bill or throttle you
- It is a running total, not a record of what you visited
Orders and payments
- Order records, invoice references and payment status
- Retained for accounting and for reconciling disputes with the payment gateways
Support
- Tickets you open and the messages in them
- Kept so the next person to help you can read what already happened
What we do not record
Specific and checkable, rather than a slogan:
- The websites, services or applications you connect to through the tunnel
- The contents of your traffic, which is encrypted end to end between your device and our edge
- DNS queries tied to your account
- Your browsing history, in any form
How your data is protected
- All traffic between your device and our edge runs inside an encrypted tunnel
- Your server configuration is delivered encrypted with a key derived from your own account, and is only ever decrypted in memory
- Your configuration is fetched by your signed-in app and never shown to you to copy or share, so there is nothing to leak
- Sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes; the token itself exists only on your device
- You can see and revoke every active browser session and device from your dashboard
Who else is involved
We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising. A small number of processors are necessarily involved in providing the service:
bKash and PayStation
Process your payments. They receive the amount, an order reference and any phone number you provide. We never receive or store your full payment credentials.
Google, Facebook, Discord
Handle sign-in. They tell us your email, name and picture. They are not told what you do on ErrorX.
Telegram
Optional. Only if you choose to link your account for notifications — and you can unlink it at any time.
Hosting and analytics
Our hosting provider processes page requests and aggregate performance metrics for this website. These are not linked to your traffic through the tunnel.
Account deletion and data retention
You can delete your account from your dashboard settings at any time. Here is precisely what happens:
A seven-day grace period
- Deletion is scheduled seven days ahead rather than executed immediately
- Signing in during that window shows a screen offering to cancel it — simply signing in does not cancel it on its own, because that would undo a deliberate decision by accident
- We send you a reminder the day before it becomes permanent
What is erased after seven days
- Your name, email address and profile picture, replaced with anonymous placeholders
- All linked sign-in providers, browser sessions and device sessions
- Any active subscription, which is cancelled
- Your wallet balance, which is zeroed
- Your notifications and bandwidth history
What survives, and why
- Orders, payments and wallet ledger entries — with no name attached to them
- They are kept because deleting them would retroactively alter our revenue records and leave gateway transactions impossible to reconcile
- They can no longer be connected back to you
Your rights
- See what we hold — most of it is already visible in your dashboard
- Correct your name or profile details at any time
- Export your order and payment history by asking us
- Delete your account, with the seven-day window described above
- Revoke any individual browser session or connected device instantly
- Unlink Telegram, or withdraw from the referral programme, whenever you like
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, none of them for advertising or cross-site tracking. The Cookie Policy lists every one of them individually, including the referral cookie that records a public share code when you arrive through someone’s link.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled in a way that affects you, we will say so in your dashboard rather than quietly updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after such a notice means you accept the revised policy.
